What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Technician position at Austin Clear Pool?
Job Description:
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our growing team. To start the route would be about 10 pools each week and will grow fairly quickly. It may also include other one-off jobs like green-to-cleans and filter cleans. This is a contract (1099) position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool maintenance (skimming, brushing, vacuuming, backwashing checking equipment, etc.)
- Test and balance water chemistry
- Communicate any issues or service notes clearly
- Provide excellent customer service while on-site
Requirements:
- Previous pool maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Candidate must have their own reliable transportation (truck or larger vehicle to carry equipment & Chemicals) and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and follow service protocols
- Professional, team oriented attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on coverage needs
- Excellent communication skills via calls, texts, emails, in-person etc.
- Willing to consent to a background check
