What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Benefits Platform Engineer position at Austin Benefits Group?
What You’ll Do
▪ Configure client benefit websites: plan details, costs, documents, notifications, and videos
▪ Build payroll integrations with BambooHR, ADP, Paycor, and similar platforms
▪ Maintain carrier API integrations and update configurations at renewal
▪ Update the Austin internal system through each client renewal cycle
▪ Create employee and employer communications for onboarding and offboarding
▪ Prepare paper enrollment documentation when online platforms are not in place
▪ Audit systems to verify calculations match carrier contracts and resolve discrepancies
▪ Oversee client enrollment platform changes and flag challenges early
▪ Maintain the Austin Navigator renewal process for applicable clients
▪ Collaborate with Client Experience, Analytics, carriers, and vendors
What You Bring
✔ 2–5 years of experience in benefits administration, HR, or a related field
✔ Experience with Employee Navigator, Ease, PlanSwift, BSwift, or similar platforms
✔ HRIS/payroll experience with BambooHR, ADP, Paycor, or similar systems
✔ Proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, and related tools
✔ Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot discrepancies early
✔ Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
✔ Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2 years in benefits administration accepted in lieu of degree

Salary : $50,000 - $75,000
