■ About the Role
We are looking for a Content & Social Media Intern to own our digital voice across platforms. You will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and managing content that grows our community, promotes our events, and positions Austin AI Hub as a leading AI education resource in Austin. This is a hands-on role where your work will be seen by 500 community members and beyond. You will receive a structured onboarding in your first week, including brand guidelines, tool access, and a content brief.
■ What You Will Do
- Create and schedule 3-5 social media posts per week .
- Write blog post drafts (biweekly) on topics like AI education, and community spotlights
- Build and send the Austin AI Hub newsletter (frequency TBD, likely biweekly or monthly)
- Create post-event content: photo recaps, quote cards, highlight threads from workshops and networking events
- Track content performance and share insights on what is working
- Collaborate with the Design Intern on visual assets for posts and campaigns
■ What We Are Looking For
- Strong writing skills: you can write clearly and adapt tone for different platforms
- Familiarity with social media platforms (especially X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube)
- Self-starter who can manage a content calendar and meet deadlines independently
- Interest in AI, technology, or nonprofit work (you do not need to be technical)
- Bonus: experience with newsletter tools (Brevo, Mailchimp), Canva, or basic analytics
