Austill's Educational Therapy Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks a Physical Therapist to work 5 days/week (part-time options considered). This flexible caseload includes treating and supervising a PTA for 2 days/week with school-age students in Ridley Park, PA and 3 days/week treating preschool students near Aston, PA. This will continue through the summer/ESY session and into the next school year! Enjoy a flexible, rewarding position that offers work-life balance! Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant
- Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
- Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
- Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
- Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
- Some travel may be required throughout the school day
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant educational program.
- Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant Indirect License
- Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
