Role Description
This is a contract role for a Pediatric Physical Therapist located on-site in Downingtown, PA. The role involves assessing and treating pediatric students within school settings to improve their mobility, physical function, and participation in educational activities. Key responsibilities include designing individualized therapy plans, conducting therapy sessions, collaborating with educators and families, documenting progress, and maintaining compliance with state and school district guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Physical Therapy practices and principles
- Expertise in Pediatric Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation techniques
- Experience or knowledge in Pediatrics and related medical considerations
- Ability to assess, create, and implement individualized plans for physical development
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice Physical Therapy in Pennsylvania
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, school staff, and families
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach while working with children
- Experience in school-based therapy is a plus
