We're looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our Pre-Commercial manufacturing line — a dynamic, high-mix, low-volume environment that supports unique development builds. This role is at the intersection of production operations and product development, requiring someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and knows how to get the best out of their team.
You'll report to the Director of Operations and directly supervise Leads and Operators, while collaborating closely with Manufacturing and Development Engineering.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations including workflow scheduling, staff management, productivity monitoring, and production troubleshooting to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of Leads and Operators
- Prioritize production schedules based on labor availability, equipment efficiency, and materials supply
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, visual management, waste elimination, and 5S practices
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, production metrics, and training documentation
- Ensure compliance with company Quality System requirements and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Materials, Sourcing, and Manufacturing Engineering
- Manage staffing plans, performance appraisals, timesheets, and employee relations
What We're Looking For
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of medical device manufacturing experience
- 3 years in a team leadership role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree
- 10 years of medical device manufacturing experience
- 5–7 years in a leadership or mentorship role
Work Environment
This role works in clean-room and controlled environments. Physical requirements include standing, walking, pushing, lifting, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motion. Close vision, color vision, and depth perception required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
