AuST Manufacturing is a medical device design and development company with broad experience relating to minimally invasive devices and deep expertise relating to cardiovascular catheters. Examples include thrombectomy catheters, drug delivery catheters, intra-cardiac imaging devices, cardiac ablation catheters, and multiple delivery systems, including those for aortic and peripheral stent grafts, aortic valves, cardiac assist devices, brady pacing leads and trans-venous LV leads.
We're seeking an Engineering Technician to support Manufacturing and Development Engineers to develop manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting equipment and process issues, assisting in the development and deployment of fixturing and manufacturing equipment, and assisting to develop process documentation. Assists Engineers with projects through building or procuring test equipment and performing testing, including process validations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Testing and Evaluation: A wide variety of products are tested and evaluated at AuST and the technician may support many of the products listed above. Testing includes physical and chemical evaluations as appropriate to prove a device is safe and effective within its intended use.
- Fixture and Work Holding Innovation: Harness your ingenuity to implement fixtures and work holding solutions that streamline manufacturing operations.
- Documentation: In this industry you have to prove what you think, say, and do. We need people that can solve problems, develop test, and collect data to show efficacy.
- Problem Solving: Utilize your analytical prowess to swiftly identify root causes of issues encountered in product testing and evaluations.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent. College degree a related field is advantageous.
- Knowledge of general medical device testing and processes.
- Documentation Skills - including proficiency with Microsoft office software and data entry. Technical writing experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively across multi-functional teams. Fluent in English is required. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
