In this vital field-based role, you will serve as the bridge between ACS and the community by building strong relationships with schools, healthcare providers, and local organizations to connect children and families to essential mental health services.
Your primary focus will be to actively generate new client referrals through community engagement, networking, and outreach efforts while increasing awareness of behavioral health services within the East Texas region.

COMPENSATION & BONUS OPPORTUNITY
- Starting Pay: $15.00/hour
- 90-Day Review: Eligible for increase based on performance
In addition to hourly pay, employees are eligible for performance-based bonuses with uncapped earning potential.
- Standard expectation: 5 completed client admissions per week
- Weekly bonuses are available for exceeding performance expectations
- Bonus amounts increase in structured tiers based on total weekly productivity
There is no cap on bonuses — high performers have the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings.
All bonuses are based on overall outreach performance and admissions growth and are structured in compliance with Medicaid, TMHP, and organizational policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain relationships with:
- Schools, counselors, and administrators
- Clinics, healthcare providers, and community partners
- Local organizations, agencies, and community centers
- Conduct daily in-person outreach throughout Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Center, San Augustine, and surrounding areas
- Educate community partners on ACS services, including:
- Skills Training
- Targeted Case Management
- Identify, develop, and maintain referral sources
- Follow up with potential clients and referral partners
- Coordinate with intake staff to ensure timely and smooth client admissions
- Track outreach activities and maintain accurate documentation of efforts and results
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma required (Bachelor’s preferred in Psychology, Social Work, Marketing, or related field)
- Experience in outreach, sales, marketing, or community engagement preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet performance goals
- Comfortable working in the field and engaging with diverse populations
- Reliable transportation required
