Real Estate and Lending Transactional Associate Attorney

Base Salary: Up to $115,000 - $135,000 (depending on experience)
Ausley & McMullen is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Associate Attorney with 0-4 years of transactional experience in commercial and/or agricultural real estate and lending.
This is a strong fit for a transactional attorney seeking mentorship from experienced partners, exposure to sophisticated middle‑market matters, a lower billable‑hour target than many larger firms, and a path to build a real estate and lending transactional practice within an established law firm.
Role Focus: Real Estate and Lending Transactions (Commercial and Agricultural) | Corporate / general business matters | Commercial contracts | Deeds, loan documents, leases, easements, restrictive covenant agreements | shareholder/member agreements, NDAs, corporate governance
Firm: Based in Tallahassee, Florida, Ausley McMullen has provided clients with legal services in civil litigation, transactional matters, regulatory issues, and government affairs throughout Florida and Southern Georgia for nearly a century.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) law degree from an ABA-Accredited Law Firm
- 0–4 years of transactional real estate and lending experience and a strong attention to detail
- Bar Admission: Florida (FL) (additional bar admission in Georgia and/or Alabama a plus but not required)
- Commercial law firm background strongly preferred
- Commercial and/or agricultural real estate and lending transaction experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable handling the lifecycle of commercial and agricultural real estate transactions with a strong attention to detail
- Inquisitive nature required
- Stable resume and strong written / verbal communication skills
- Qualified candidates must be currently located in the Tallahassee, Florida area or be willing to relocate to the Tallahassee area as a condition of employment.
