Senior R&D Engineer

Position: Senior Deep Learning Researcher

Job Overview:

Auscultech Dx is seeking Senior Deep Learning Researcher to join our dynamic team. The role involves using large clinical databases to train and test medical deep learning methods. This role will focus on multimodal classification using deep learning.

Responsibilities:

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Develop, test, and optimize deep learning models tailored for medical imaging.
• Manage and build large datasets that involves manual annotation of medical images and quality scoring
• Collaborate with medical professionals to integrate clinical symptoms and review the annotated images
• Deploy the trained/validated deep learning models on different healthcare providers platforms such as Telehealth websites and mobile apps
• Write ARPA-H quarterly reports
• Document processes and methodologies and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

·      PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with a PhD thesis focused on deep learning theory/methods

·      Strong experience with DL-based classification models such as transformers and CNNs.

·      Proficiency in C and Python, with a proven track of publications in high quality journals and Conferences (IEEE/CVF Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on Image Processing). If candidates do not have this requirement, THEY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

·      Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

·      Experience in working with medical imaging data.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
