Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections and assessments of archery equipment, including bows, arrows, sights, and accessories.
- Perform repairs, adjustments, and tuning on various types of bows such as recurve, compound, and traditional models.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, modifications, and inventory using database management systems.
- Assist customers with technical questions regarding equipment setup, maintenance procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Organize and catalog archery products using alphabetical filing systems and integrated library systems for efficient retrieval.
- Utilize online resource databases to research product specifications, troubleshooting tips, and new advancements in archery technology.
- Troubleshoot software or hardware issues related to digital bow sights or electronic accessories; provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports equipment repair or technical maintenance with a focus on archery gear preferred.
- Strong knowledge of databases, online resource databases, and library collection arrangement methods such as Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC).
- Excellent writing skills for documenting repairs, creating manuals or instructional materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) along with productivity software for data entry and records management.
- Skilled in cataloging techniques including numerical filing and records management practices.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high productivity levels.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently.
- Technical proficiency in software troubleshooting related to digital archery accessories; familiarity with integrated library systems is a plus.
