Project Manager – PeopleSoft Implementation / Migration
Location: Birmingham, AL or Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in PeopleSoft implementation and migration projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience and a proven track record of successfully leading enterprise-level PeopleSoft initiatives. This role requires excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills while driving projects from planning through successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end PeopleSoft implementation and migration projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and executive updates.
- Facilitate project meetings, steering committee discussions, and stakeholder communications.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Drive issue resolution and manage project dependencies.
- Ensure successful project delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of overall Project Management experience (up to 15 years will also be considered).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing PeopleSoft implementation and/or migration projects.
- Strong experience leading enterprise application implementation projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong risk management, planning, and execution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Experience with ERP transformation programs.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments.
- Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
