PT Front Desk Receptionist

Aurora Valley Care currently has an opening for a Saturday & Sunday Front Desk Receptionist.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and transfer telephone calls; take and relay messages per Center policy
• Performs all secretarial/clerical duties as assigned/required
• Courteously greets visitors and sees that they are signing in and out, per Center policy
• Maintains a room list of residents in the center
• Coordinated job application process with applicants
• Deliver mail and packages as needed

Qualifications:

• Ability to organize, plan and work autonomously
• Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other facility staff
• Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about working with long-term care residents and the elderly
