Job Summary
Aurora Bulk Storage is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Tow Motor Operator to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stage materials while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safety standards.
Duties
- Operate tow motor (forklift) safely to load and unload trucks
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse and storage areas
- Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Verify product quantities and match with shipping/receiving documents
- Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and organization
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Previous tow motor/forklift operating experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks
- Basic math and documentation skills (for inventory and paperwork)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
