Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse (RN) position based in Milwaukee, WI. The RN will provide direct and compassionate patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and oversee the implementation of care plans. The role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients and their families on post-care steps. Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and maintaining accurate patient records will also be critical responsibilities. Working in the CICU, you will see post cath procedures, TAVR post op, medical overflow and pre transplant work ups. CICU nurses are ready for everything and are experts in SWAN management.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin or compact state
- Strong clinical skills, including administering medication, patient assessment, and monitoring
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of cardiac care and critical care procedures is preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; certification in specialized nursing areas is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills
