What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Psychologist Supervisor Full Time position at Aurora San Diego?
To provide the highest quality individual and group clinical supervision and training experience to Post Doctoral Fellows, APA Psychology interns, and Practicum students.
*Pay Range: $70/hr. to $79/hr.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Training and supervision of pre and post-doctoral interns in both group and individual therapy formats
- Support activities of the Department Head including program development, program and schedule oversight and performance improvement projects
- Provide process-oriented group therapy supervision as well as psycho-educational and other didactic groups for patients using various professional treatment modalities
- Provide supervision on individual, couples or family therapy using evidence based highest quality modalities for which they have received an adequate amount of training and supervision
- Report to community/state agencies any patient issues required and represents facility in any legal proceedings
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
- Full Unrestricted License to practice in the state of California
- Experience in group and individual therapy CBT and DBT modalities
- BLS (Basic Life Support ) Certification for Healthcare Providers following the American Heart Association guidelines
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience working in a Psychiatric Hospital
- Experience treating Active-Duty Military and/or First Responders
- Experience treating children and adolescents
- 3 years plus of supervision experience
