SUMMARY
Perform daily technical support duties for customers as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer a high volume of phone calls in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
- Receive and process high volume of customer requests for serial number look up via telephone, fax, or electronic format, that must be done accurately and in a timely manner.
- Part number searches, part quoting price, and availability information.
- Research of bill of materials and blueprints using microfiche, hard copy, or internet.
- Research into acceptable replacement parts for obsolete or non-stock items.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executives of Aurora.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent phone skills.
- Excellent problem solving and resolution skills.
- PC, Microsoft Word, Excel and basic computer knowledge.
- Attention to detail and task completion skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and bill of materials.
- Excellent task completion and follow-up skills.
- Prior industry experience including working knowledge of industry terminology and overview of components.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
