Licensed Therapist - Crisis Walk-in Clinic/Day & Swing Shift/FE (63798)

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), Licensed Psychologist to join our Crisis Team, providing life-changing services through our Walk-In Clinic (WIC). The Walk-In Clinic serves individuals of all ages experiencing a self-defined behavioral health crisis, offering assessment, intervention, safety planning, referrals, and placement coordination 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. 

Schedule. This position is fully Onsite/In-person, working 4 x 10 hour shifts. Available schedules are: 

• Sunday - Wednesday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm 
• Sunday to Wednesday - 12:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Salary for this role. Wage is based on years of licensure and company equity. Shift differentials available for certain shifts.

• Licensed Therapist: $32.47 - $44.48 per hour.
• Licensed Psychologist: $47.83 - $61.23 per hour.

Schedule. This position will work Sunday - Wednesday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, at the Potomac Pavilion. 

Salary for this role. Wage is based on years of licensure and company equity. Shift differentials available for certain shifts.

• Licensed Therapist: $32.47 - $44.48 per hour.
• Licensed Psychologist: $47.83 - $61.23 per hour.

Shift Differential Pay. The Day weekend shift differential is paid from 7 am to 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays only; the Swing shift differential is paid from 3 pm to 11 pm; and the Overnight shift differential is paid from 11 pm - 7 am 

• Day Weekend (Sat, Sun): $2.50 
• Overnight Weekday (Monday - Thursday): $4.25/hour 
• Overnight Weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday): $6.25/hour 
• Swing Weekday (Mon-Thurs): $2.75/hour 
• Swing Weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun): $4.25/hour 

Essential Functions:

• Facilitate recovery and optimal quality of life in clients with behavioral health concerns, by providing clinical services, case management and education. With the client, create and carry out a consistent plan of treatment, from intake and assessment to closure.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments, individual, family and/or group therapy with assigned clients.
• Develop and monitor treatment plans; update at required intervals.
• Consult with internal and external professionals and collaterals to ensure access to needed services and proactive coordination of care.
• Provide clinical case-management services as needed. Provide crisis intervention as appropriate.
• Provide comprehensive clinical services designed to decrease symptoms and improve quality of life.
• Assist clients to evaluate strengths and symptoms, and set their own goals.
• Guide and instruct clients in coping skills.
• Offer consultation to community partners and providers.
• Ensure that billing information is up-to-date for assigned clients. Seek insurance authorization for services as required.
• Write reports and other correspondence, as necessary, and with appropriate releases.
• Complete all requests to provide the necessary information and undertake the required activities to ensure timely and ongoing credentialing with third party payers.
• Staff member will monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the clients care team.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in human services field for a Licensed Therapist or a Doctorate in psychology for a Licensed Psychologist.
• At least two years of clinical experience providing care, including conducting individual, family and/or group therapy.
• Professional licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Psychologist (PhD, PSYD) – or equivalent licensure in another state with the intent to transfer.
• Colorado Licensure Requirement: If you currently hold an out-of-state license, it is a condition of employment that you obtain the appropriate Colorado licensure through the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) within 30 days of your hire date. 
• Must possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of theories and evidence-based practices related to clinical treatment.
• Ability to learn and utilize an electronic health record with proficiency.
• Solid comprehension of mental illness and treatment modalities within multidisciplinary approach.
• Knowledge of DSM-V.
• Ability to comprehend and effectively respond to all client presentations and crisis situations.
• Ability to document interactions with clients, other agencies and mental health professionals.

Required Vaccination and TB Test.

Proof of both the flu shot and a negative TB test must be provided on your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions can be requested if necessary.
