Batch Technician
Aurora Material Solutions – Evansville, IN
Aurora Material Solutions, a leader in polymer manufacturing, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Batch Technician to join our growing production team. This position plays a critical role in preparing and blending raw materials that keep our manufacturing operations running efficiently.

What You'll Do
Batch Preparation & Blending
- Assemble batches according to formulation sheets and production specifications.
- Accurately weigh and verify raw materials before blending.
- Load materials into blenders and ensure batches are prepared in the correct sequence.
- Clean blenders and batching equipment between batches as required.
Material Handling
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
- Safely operate forklifts and fork trucks.
- Maintain adequate material levels to support continuous production.
Documentation & Quality
- Complete batch records and production documentation accurately.
- Follow established quality procedures and work instructions.
- Report material discrepancies, quality concerns, or equipment issues promptly.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean and organized batching area.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Work safely around manufacturing equipment, moving machinery, and material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Manufacturing, production, batching, blending, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Reliable attendance and dependability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires working around:
- Varying temperatures
- Dust and noise
- Moving machinery
- Forklift traffic
Required PPE must be worn at all times.
