Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations. This dual-role position is responsible for coordinating supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, as well as assisting the sales team with order processing, customer support, and account coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, a strong communicator, and capable of working cross-functionally to support both production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with procurement on raw materials, components, and packaging supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and orders to avoid/alert early of shortages.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to track deliveries, manage lead times, and resolve discrepancies.
- Support production planning by ensuring timely availability of materials.
- Assist in maintaining ERP or inventory management systems with up-to-date records.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure on-time shipments.
Sales Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between Relationship Managers, production, and logistics to ensure order fulfillment.
- Respond to inquiries regarding order status, delivery schedules, and product availability.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and order management systems.
- Support sales team in preparing proposals, sales reports, and forecasts.
- Help identify opportunities to improve customer experience and streamline processes.
- Support the engineering, operations, and production teams as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, sales coordination, or operations (manufacturing environment preferred).
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with inventory control methods
- Basic understanding of sales cycles and order fulfillment workflows.
- Knowledge of export/import logistics is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
