What are the responsibilities and job description for the FAMILY & CONSUMER SCIENCE position at Aurora High School?
The Aurora R-VIII School District is seeking applicants for a Family and Consumer Science position open for the 2025-26 school year. The position will be split between the high school and junior high which will require the teacher to travel between buildings. Applicants must possess current certification for the position, demonstrate a student-centered philosophy on education, and be proficient in understanding quality instructional practices to increase student achievement. Working knowledge of Professional Learning Communities, Technology Integration, and Response to Intervention would be a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position. Benefits include Board-paid health insurance stipend and paid sick/personal leave days.
