The Aurora R-VIII School District has an Engineering by Desing/STEM position for the 2025-26 school year. Applicants must possess current certification for the position, demonstrate a student-centered philosophy on education, and be proficient in understanding quality instructional practices to increase student achievement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this position. Depending on the strengths of the appicant, the position could include content related to 3D printing, electronics, robotics, etc. Benefits include a Board-paid health insurance stipend and paid sick/personal leave days. The Aurora R-8 district operates on a Monday through Thursday, four-day-week schedule.
