What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) - Stroke position at Aurora Health Care?
Where You Will Work:
5 East is a 20 bed stroke unit which has just passed our 16th year of being DNV/Joint Commission Stroke certified.. We work closely with our care navigators, hospitalist as well as our neuro hospitalists to ensure quality outcomes giving the patients the best chance of returning to normal function as possible.
We’re Looking For:
3–12-hour shifts per week
Days, 7:00am-7:00pm
Rotating Weekends and Holidays HOURS PER WEEK: 36 RELOCATION: Yes
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Add additional preferred qualifications
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
3–12-hour shifts per week
