Aurora Disability services is looking to hire a part time staff, with flexible scheduling!
We need somebody who is available TUESDAY'S and WEDNESDAYS 2:30pm-7:30pm for job coaching. We do have other afternoon shifts available between the hours of 1pm and 6pm on other days of the week.
We hire at $18-19 starting rate depending on experience but that is JUST BASE PAY.
We offer mileage reimbursement, intensive client pay, raises depending on performance, paid holidays, PTO, etc!
We have an extremely friendly and communicative staff who make for a great work environment. The job itself is a Direct Support Professional (DSP). You will be working with kids and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will receive on the job training as well as paid for training and certifications that can really shine up your resume! Most clients are very relaxed and super fun; they enjoy fishing, going for walks and community outings, watching movies with peers, board games, arts and crafts and all kinds of fun stuff.
Only thing we ask for is that you have a RELIABLE vehicle and willing to do a bit driving if your client for the day likes to be out in the community, be teachable and open to receiving input to help you be more successful, and have a flexible schedule. Required Qualifications:
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Current drivers license
- Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
