Purpose

 The Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing quality at internal processing facilities, external co-packing processing facilities and suppliers. This also includes conducting system audits on all processes and documentation throughout the AOD production facilities, supplier facilities and co-packing facilities. This includes system audits with frequencies of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually. The Corporate Quality Manager reports, modifies and trains the plant staffs on system deficiencies. This position is also responsible for assisting in AOD quality documentation control and farm quality monitoring as needed.  

Essential Responsibilities

  •   Ensure plant system audits are completed according to the required audit frequency. Ensure all deficiencies in processes/documentation are documented and corrective actions delegated to appropriate manager. 
  • Provide Quality System related training to all employees. 
  • SQF Certified Practitioner-– Responsible for development, training, implementation and compliance to the SQF program company wide.
  •  Responsible for development, training, implementation and compliance to CAPA program for manufacturing facilities. 
  • Provide leadership  in 
  • Developing and maintaining Company Wide Quality focus that is effective in improving and sustaining the highest Quality Standards. 
  • Continuous improvement of all employee food safety practices; GMP, HACCP/FSMA and SQF 
  • Corporate Quality document control program and policy development. 
  • Overseeing and assisting Plant Quality Managers in all quality related programs and requirements. 
  • Responsible for developing internal and external auditing systems and compliance. 
  • Assist in Farm Quality program oversight 
  • All personnel have the responsibility to monitor and report any deviations from our Food Safety and Food Quality (HACCP & SQF) programs to your immediate supervisor.  

Knowledge & Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree in food science, Dairy Science, Microbiology or related field required.  MS in Dairy Science preferred. 
  • 7 years professional experience as dairy Quality Manager or closely related position. 
  • Prefer UP & aseptic experience. 
  • Thorough knowledge of dairy processing regulatory requirements. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Ability to identify and communicate the
    root cause of quality issues and develop effective, sustainable corrective
    actions.
     
  • An effective problem solver. 

Salary : $110,000 - $135,000
