The Forklift Operator will operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks in our warehouse facility.

1 year experience in forklift and reach truck operation
Physical Requirements
WAREHOUSE OR PRODUCTION POSITION – While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to: Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside Medium work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

- Cuts straps off inbound freight
- Unload goods from trucks
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
- Prepare pallets for storage
- Check loads are secure
- Stack empty pallets
- Dump materials into machine hoppers
- Use RF scanner gun
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good math, language and reading skills
- Basic computer skills may be required
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others
- Promote a safe work environment
- Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records
- Maintain a clean & safe environment
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time
