Role Description This is a full-time, remote Territory Manager role based in Northern Ohio. The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing and managing a defined sales territory, building strong relationships with small and medium-sized business clients, and promoting Auris payroll and HR solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting new clients, conducting in-person and virtual meetings, delivering product demonstrations, and managing the full sales cycle from qualification through close. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth implementation experience, tracking sales activity in CRM tools, and meeting or exceeding assigned revenue and growth targets. The Territory Manager will represent Auris at local events and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in territory management, outside sales, or business development, preferably in SaaS, HR, payroll, or financial services.
- Strong skills in prospecting, consultative selling, pipeline management, and closing new business.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships, understand customer needs, and present solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Comfort using CRM and sales tools, along with basic proficiency in productivity software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confident in-person presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Self-directed, organized, and able to manage time, territory, and travel effectively in an on-site, field-focused role.
- Familiarity with payroll, HR, benefits, or compliance topics is highly beneficial; willingness to learn complex products and regulations is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
