Job Responsibilities:
- Help manage material sort and transfer on the plant floor in coordination with other personnel.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work space, initiate organizational changes and cleanliness.
- Prioritize workflow and take initiative to move material through production in a timely manner.
- Self-sufficiency and autonomy with limited task direction.
- Experience with small industrial production operations.
- Ability to follow directions and follow through with minimal guidance.
- Reliable daily transportation and the ability to lift 50 lb.
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to quickly adjust to a change in workflow and process.
- Effective written and oral communication in English.
- Prior industrial/processing experience
- Safe Forklift Operation/ Forklift Certification a plus
- Machine operating experience a plus
- Prior scrap recycling experience
