Job Description / Position Title : People Operations Manager
Reports to : Chief People Officer

What you'll do :
Provide communication, training, and support to all GMs and DMs regarding any people-related tools or policy updatesMaintain all required onboarding documents and policies, and update consistently in the HR System to ensure compliance with -employment lawsPartner with compliance to communicate the relevant information pertaining to HR-related store postingsReview and revise handbook and policies annually, ensuring brands are complying with all State and Local laws as outlined in the handbook and supplementsMaintain current salary / compensation benchmarking dataOversee benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to Aurify platform and brand employeesHandle employee relations counseling and exit interviews, following the hierarchy process already in place (employee to GM to DM first consult with HR or Legal for confirmation of resolution)Partner with Chief of Staff on risk mitigation and litigation issuesMaintain company organization charts and the employee directoryAssist in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports from the databaseConduct designated weekly, quarterly, and annual compliance auditsMaintain and promote compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.What else you'll need :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, Business Administration, Industrial or Psychology or any related field3-5 years of experience in HR and / or a related field (GM experience)Exceptional business acumen and problem solvingStrong verbal and written communication skills; working knowledge of Spanish is preferredExperience with HRIS Systems; Knowledge of federal and state labor lawsDecision-making, leadership, and change management skillsKnowledge of time accounting software, human resources software, accounting / payroll software, enterprise resource planning software and resume submission software; Paycom experience is a plusHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
