With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide. We are currently searching for Engineering Intern to join our team at our Auria Fremont Plant in Fremont, Ohio.What you will do:
- Support engineering change requests
- Participate in cost saving projects and responsible for reporting
- Assist with product launches to achieve timeline milestones for production
- Support continuous improvement activities through time study evaluation, machinery implementation, machinery modification, and plant layout design changes.
- Participate in Kaizen events
- Learn ways to provide technical support to skilled trades and operations related to downtime and machine throughput issues.
- Help ensure all contractors are following the plant safety rules.
- Support required actions based on results from Global Safety Audit
- Participate in corrective actions regarding machine safety issues as requested.
- Other activities as assigned by Manager
