Auria is looking to hire a Software Engineer to support the C2BMC program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
Will primarily be responsible for software development in Java
Interact with others using strong verbal and written communication skills
Work either independently or collaboratively in a small group
Be flexible in a highly dynamic, ever-changing environment
Provide in-depth analysis and technical support for a large, distributed Java system
Perform complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, integration, and user support for a large codebase
Follow specifications to develop or modify functionality in the code
Assist in design, benchmarking, testing, debugging, and documentation
Interface with other system support groups to resolve issues, set standards, and improve the system's overall efficiency
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to be cleared at TS/SCI
Experience with Java or C software development, software testing, or software integration
Hands-on experience with DoD integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
Frequent contact with internal and external customers and representation of the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
Applicants with a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance at the time of application are highly preferred
Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security CE, CCNA-Security, CySA , CND, etc.) at the time of application, is highly preferred. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
Full-stack web development experience preferred, including Angular/Cesium/JWT Authentication/TypeScript/HTML/CSS/Node.js/Wildfly
Experience with Eclipse, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, and Confluence is highly desired
Experience with using and developing SW and creating scripts on Linux strongly desired
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $115,000 - $125,000
