Job Overview
As a Mechanical Engineer with CFD expertise, youll be at the forefront of turning ideas into high-performance, validated designs. Your simulations will guide critical engineering decisionswhether its reducing drag on a new aerospace component, improving thermal management in an electronics enclosure, or optimizing fluid flow in systems. Your work will directly influence product performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Lead CFD simulations for projects involving fluid flow, heat transfer, and multiphase systems using tools like ANSYS Fluent, CFX, or STAR-CCM .
- Translate complex physical problems into accurate computational models, from geometry preparation to mesh generation and solver setup.
- Collaborate with design engineers to integrate CFD insights into CAD models and mechanical designs.
- Validate simulation results through experimental data, wind tunnel testing, or field measurements.
- Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Document methodologies, results, and recommendations in clear, client-ready reports.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) with a focus on fluid mechanics or thermodynamics with 5 years of experience.
