Our client, a large-scale energy infrastructure developer, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Corporate Finance to support capital raising, financing strategy, and financial analysis across a portfolio of major development projects.
This role offers direct exposure to project finance, debt and equity financing, capital markets activities, and long-term strategic planning. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in evaluating financing alternatives, supporting lender and investor processes, and maintaining sophisticated financial models used to drive investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support financing and capital allocation decisions
- Evaluate debt, equity, and other financing alternatives to optimize capital structure
- Support capital raising initiatives and financing transactions
- Assist with lender, investor, and rating agency due diligence processes
- Prepare investment materials, financing presentations, and strategic analyses for senior leadership
- Analyze interest rate impacts, financing costs, and capital structure scenarios
- Partner with treasury, accounting, legal, and commercial teams on various financing-related initiatives
- Support broader corporate finance, capital markets, and strategic planning activities
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Corporate Banking, Project Finance, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or a related field
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Experience evaluating financing structures and capital raising alternatives
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with experience preparing materials for senior stakeholders
Preferred Experience
- Energy, power, infrastructure, renewables, or natural resources experience
- Exposure to project finance, tax equity, or structured financing transactions
- Experience supporting lender or investor diligence processes
- Capital markets or financing transaction experience
