What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Diver position at Aureum Monaco?
We're currently assembling a specialized commercial dive team for an AI subsea data center installation project based in Houma, Louisiana, with offshore operations in the Gulf of Mexico.
The project involves the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of subsea server modules supporting an advanced AI infrastructure facility for two technology start-ups that we are preparing to roll out by 2027. This represents a rare opportunity to work on genuinely cutting-edge marine and subsea technology.
We're looking for qualified candidates to join the team starting November 1st for an initial three-month contract, with potential for extension depending on project requirements.
The compensation package is $9,600 per month, with essential project logistics covered, including accommodation, meals, diving insurance, and all required PPE and specialized diving equipment.
Ideally, we're seeking divers who hold current IMCA or ADC Commercial Diver certification and a valid diving medical certificate. Given the technical nature of the project, experience in surface-supplied and/or saturation diving would be particularly valuable. A valid TWIC and other relevant U.S. maritime or offshore credentials would also be advantageous.
Candidates should be prepared for offshore work in the Gulf of Mexico and be able to meet all applicable U.S. commercial diving, maritime, medical, safety, and project-specific requirements.
We're moving quickly with recruitment to ensure the team is fully assembled and ready for the November mobilization.
If you're available and interested in discussing the opportunity, I'd welcome the chance to connect for a brief call. Please feel free to reply with your CV/resume and current certification status, including your commercial diving qualifications, medical certificate, offshore experience, and TWIC status.
