Electro Mechanical Assembler

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler II to perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly of components and finished products. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong manual dexterity, and the ability to follow blueprints, quality standards, and production procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Perform wiring, soldering, cable assembly, component installation, bonding, potting, and fitting operations.
• Operate manufacturing equipment used in ultrasound transducer production.
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and quality specifications.
• Complete work orders accurately and meet production targets and standard times.
• Record labor transactions in the manufacturing system.
• Maintain tools, equipment, fixtures, and work areas according to 5S standards.
• Identify and report quality issues, defective materials, equipment problems, and safety concerns.
• Follow established manufacturing, safety, and quality procedures.
• Participate in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train and develop proficiency in multiple manufacturing processes as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills; manufacturing system experience preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
