Salary Range: $50,000-60,000 annually

The Grocery Manager will focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring the center store departments are well-stocked, organized and visually appealing. As a Manager on Duty (MOD), this position plays a key role in the overall success of the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support grocery team members, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Work closely with vendor partners to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize inventory shrink
- Ensure shelves, displays, and promotional areas are well-stocked, organized, clean, and visually appealing
- Monitor sales trends and department performance to maximize profitability and minimize inventory shrink.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA policies, food safety regulations, and company policies.
- Work closely with the leadership team to deliver on merchandising and promotional objectives
- Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service levels
- Analyze daily and weekly reports to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions
- Serve as Manager‑on‑Duty (MOD) as needed
Qualifications
- 5 years of relevant industry experience
- Basic knowledge of computers, POS systems, and cash handling procedures
- Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and labor planning
- Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance, and build a positive culture
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of DSHEA compliance standards preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time; bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Comfortable working in varying temperature environments (coolers, freezers, kitchens)
