What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Massage Therapist position at Aurati?
About Aurati
Aurati is a luxury wellness studio in Albuquerque known for Brazilian lymphatic drainage, along with The Aurati Method™, our signature body sculpting ritual. We're expanding into post-operative recovery, and this role is a chance to grow with us into that specialty. We're booked out weeks in advance and growing fast.
This is not a typical massage therapist role
This position blends massage skills with luxury beauty and wellness service. Our clients come to us for lymphatic drainage and body sculpting results, along with an elevated experience, not deep tissue or relaxation massage. You'll use specialized equipment, guide clients through a step-by-step ritual, and recommend treatment packages based on their goals. You'll thrive here if you love the beauty and wellness world, take pride in presentation, and enjoy building relationships with clients who come back regularly.
Your first year with us
- First 3 months: Learn Brazilian lymphatic drainage through Josie Rushing's online certification program, a nationally recognized leader in the field who's appeared on Shark Tank and spoken at Harvard, paired with hands-on coaching and modeling from our team in-studio.
- January: Two in-person trainings, fully paid by Aurati, one in post-op recovery and a second in Brazilian lymphatic drainage, so you can grow into post-op as we launch it.
About our post-op work
Our post-op recovery focuses on gentle lymphatic drainage for clients with closed incisions only. We do not provide drain removal, fluid aspiration, or any medical procedures.
