Job Description:
Aura Staffing Partners is currently seeking an experienced OR Circulating Registered Nurse for a 4-week contract at an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Colorado Springs, CO. This position is ideal for an RN with strong OR experience and a commitment to excellent patient care.
Aura Staffing Partners is currently seeking an experienced OR Circulating Registered Nurse for a 4-week contract at an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Colorado Springs, CO. This position is ideal for an RN with strong OR experience and a commitment to excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the circulating nurse in a variety of surgical procedures
- Ensure all equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly prior to procedures
- Maintain sterile environment and enforce infection control standards
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
- Monitor patient status and safety during procedures
- Accurately document patient information and surgical activities
- Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and transport
- Maintain clear communication with the surgical team throughout the procedure
- Provide post-operative care support as needed
Requirements:
- Active Colorado RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR circulating experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
