As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will oversee staff assignments and supervise resident care to ensure the highest quality services in accordance with policies and the guidance of the Director of Nursing (DON).
Key Responsibilities
- Complete RN record-keeping during resident admissions, transfers, discharges, and events.
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
- Facilitate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, including logistics.
- Perform medical procedures such as catheterization, wound care, and specimen collection.
- Collaborate with consultants and implement recommended changes.
- Investigate complaints, address grievances, and report findings.
- Conduct daily resident checks and monitor treatment adherence.
- Maintain communication with the DON about resident and staff status.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current licensure in Kansas.
- Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
