- Operate medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, and IV fluids to deliver advanced care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, offering reassurance and information.
- Lead scene management and coordinate with team members and external partners.
- Develop triage skills to prioritize care and ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide patient care in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Assist with patient movement and transportation, including ambulance driving and navigation.
- Maintain communication with medical facilities to relay critical information and receive guidance.
- Participate in community outreach to foster strong community relations.
- High school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
- Current Montana Paramedic Certification or pending application, with National Registry credential.
- Valid State Driver’s License and a driving record compliant with safety policies.
- Certification in BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS.
- Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and physical agility test.
