- Implement and follow physical therapy treatment plans to help patients achieve functional progress and improve quality of life.
- Chart patient progress accurately and timely, utilizing therapy software.
- Assist in patient evacuation when necessary and demonstrate excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
- Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team, communicate with patients and families, and maintain professional relationships.
- Adhere to safety protocols, confidentiality, and company policies, including compliance and harassment prevention.
- Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate.
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program (ASPT) and licensed or registered in the applicable state.
- Preferred one year of experience in post-acute care or related settings.
- Current CPR certification and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
- Strong communication, good body mechanics, decision-making skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently.
