Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Seamstress, based in Miami, FL. The Seamstress will be responsible for creating custom garments, making alterations, conducting fittings with clients, and providing exceptional customer service. The role also includes collaborating closely with performers and the styling team to ensure costumes meet aesthetic and functional needs for various curated performances.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dressmaking and Tailoring techniques to create custom garments and alter existing pieces
- Strong Fitting and Communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and ensure a perfect fit
- Ability to deliver excellent Customer Service, maintaining professional and respectful interactions with clients
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines
- Basic knowledge of fashion design or costume creation is a plus
- Experience in sewing both by hand and with machines is highly beneficial
