What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Aura Endocrinology?
We are seeking a registered nurse to join our dual endocrinology and longevity practices under the direct supervision of the physician. Responsibilities:
Preparing charts for the day.
Rooming patients, taking an HPI, reconciling medications and taking vitals.
Presenting cases to the doctor in a concise and clear way to ensure the patient has a productive and efficient visit with the doctor.
Placing lab orders and writing prescriptions for the doctor’s review.
Drawing blood and preparing lab samples accurately as directed by the physician for the longevity patients.
Placing continuous glucose monitors on patients.
Reviewing glucose monitor data and food diary with patients on subsequent visits, as well as providing nutritional counseling.
Clearly and patiently explaining doctor's instructions to the patients (i.e. taking medication, timing of labs and radiology tests).
Reviewing results with patients under the doctor's guidance.
Documenting resolutions to patient clinical questions and concerns.
Working hand in hand with the physician and longevity patients by taking detailed histories and preparing detailed reports on results.
Requirements:
Knowledge of EMRs
Registered Nurse with Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Clear communicator.
Ability to work under the direct supervision and direction of the practice physician.
Reliable and punctual.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
