What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part to Full Time Preschool Assistant Teacher position at Aunty's Child Care?
Join the Aunty’s Child Care Team!
At Aunty’s Child Care, we pride ourselves on our close-knit team, low teacher turnover, and a deeply rooted culture of care that extends not just to the children we serve, but to our staff as well. We're more than just a workplace — we're a community.
We’re currently seeking a reliable, compassionate Assistant Preschool Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and ready to grow alongside our children using a therapeutic, relationship-centered approach. This role is perfect for someone eager to make a meaningful impact while learning lifelong skills — from guiding behavior without shame, to supporting emotional development, teaching relationship repair, and understanding the "why" behind children’s actions.
Why Join Aunty’s?
- We believe teachers thrive when they’re trusted — that’s why we give our educators autonomy within a strong, supportive framework.
- Our preschoolers spend most of the summer outside — exploring the woods, walking the Lakewalk, playing at the beach, and discovering the beauty of the natural world.
- Even in winter, we embrace outdoor learning, teaching children to care for the Earth, their environment, and themselves.
- We prioritize community, responsibility, problem-solving, and self-advocacy — values that our teachers model every day.
We’re looking for someone who is committed, punctual, and ready to do the deep, rewarding work this field requires. Reliability is a must — our team and the children we serve count on one another.
