Toddler Teacher – Auntie Kia’s Daycare
Location: Bluefield, WV
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay
$10–$11/hour starting pay
- Raise at 90 days, 6 months, and yearly based on performance
Position Overview
Auntie Kia’s Daycare is seeking a serious, dependable, and structured Toddler Teacher. This position requires consistency, professionalism, and the ability to maintain control of a classroom at all times.
Responsibilities
Supervise children at all times — no exceptions
- Maintain full classroom structure and follow schedules
- Teach: ABCs, numbers 1–20 , colors, shapes, and name recognition
- Keep classroom clean, organized, and safe
- Communicate with parents and document daily activities
Requirements (Must Meet All)
•High School Diploma or GED
- Physical exam required prior to employment
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Must pass:
- CPS Background Screening
- APS Background Screening
- Federal Background Check
- Drug Screening (including random)
- Must be reliable, on time, and consistent
- Must be able to manage a classroom without constant supervision
Schedule
- Must be flexible
- Possible 4-12 hour shifts based on staffing needs
