Sanitation Technician
Pay: $21.27/Hour – Paid Weekly
Schedule: 4 Days per week including Friday

As a Sanitation Tech, you'll join our team as a regular long-term full-time employee. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits, a pay increase, and PTO at 90 days. In addition, with EXCEPTIONAL performance there are opportunities for growth and promotions available! You'll be part of a team that works together to clean and maintain Aunt Millie’s in Plymouth.
Position Responsibilities:
- To keep all production and receiving areas clean by cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment, and maintaining the areas in accordance with approved quality and sanitation procedures
- To maintain equipment and comply with food safety regulations to provide a safe quality product to our customers
- Clean lint, dust, oil, and grease from all production equipment, removing parts as needed and putting the equipment back together for all production lines
- Also responsible for cleaning overhead pipes, and conveyors
- Clean all processing tanks and vats, as well as clean or change out filters as required
- Assist with maintaining daily operational production efficiency and sanitation duties, along with maintenance of all sanitation-related equipment
- Clean floor using sanitation chemicals as required, transporting trash and other waste to the disposal area
- Actively participate in the training of new hires and/or transfers
- Complete all required paperwork, accurately and timely
- Comply with all GMP, Safety Procedures, Company Policies, Quality Policies, Hazard Analysis, and Critical
- Control Points as they apply to this position
- Operate forklift or hand lift to transport materials as needed
- Communicate problems or concerns with appropriate personnel
- Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures, and regulatory criteria including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Experience in sanitation practices and procedures
- Excellent attendance
- Reliable transportation is a must - there is no public transportation available
- Any required protective clothing or equipment is provided
