Position Overview
The Juvenile Justice & Group Supervisor provides leadership and supervision to staff facilitating group-based programming and activities across both Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services (CCBYS) and Juvenile Justice Expansion initiatives.
Reporting to the Group & Juvenile Justice Program Manager, this role oversees youth-centered programming focused on positive youth development, resiliency, engagement, and skill building for youth and families served throughout assigned service areas.
The Supervisor supports staff performance through coaching, session observations, supervision, and documentation review while ensuring compliance with program standards, safety protocols, and trauma-informed practices.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise and support staff facilitating youth groups and activities
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development
- Conduct group session observations and provide performance feedback
- Monitor staff facilitation practices, youth engagement, and program outcomes
- Conduct regular supervision and staff check-ins
Youth Programming & Community Engagement
- Lead planning and implementation of group programming and youth events
- Support outreach and recruitment efforts to increase youth participation
- Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and service providers
- Help develop programming that promotes resiliency, leadership, and positive youth development
- Lead and coordinate Youth Action Board meetings and initiatives
Compliance & Documentation
- Review attendance records, documentation, and activity reports for accuracy and compliance
- Support data tracking, reporting, and program evaluations
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, risk management practices, and program guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of one year of experience facilitating programs with youth
Preferred Skills
- Strong leadership and group facilitation skills
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families
- Ability to build rapport with diverse populations
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
