Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with a warm, friendly attitude.
- Accurately take dine-in, carryout, and phone orders using our POS system.
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments while balancing the cash drawer.
- Answer questions about our menu, daily specials, and catering options.
- Ensure every order is entered accurately before sending it to the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter and dining area.
- Restock beverages, condiments, utensils, and other front-of-house supplies as needed.
- Package carryout orders neatly and verify order accuracy before handing them to guests.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and fellow team members during busy service periods.
- Help resolve guest concerns professionally and notify a manager when needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.
- Assist with opening, closing, and light cleaning duties as assigned.
Skills
- Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to connect effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
- Supervising experience is a plus, especially in overseeing cash handling or customer service processes.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and restaurant operations is beneficial.
- Excellent customer service skills with an approachable attitude and patience in busy environments.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during high-volume sales periods.
