Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Fort Smith, AR. The Domestic Relations Attorney will handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and related legal proceedings. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, providing legal counsel, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. The role requires frequent collaboration with clients, colleagues, and opposing parties to ensure the best possible outcomes in sensitive situations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Law, with a specialized focus or experience in Domestic Relations and Family Law
- Proficiency in providing Legal Advice, including the ability to clearly communicate complex legal concepts to clients
- Strong Research and analytical skills to support case strategy and argument development
- Demonstrated Negotiation capabilities to resolve disputes and facilitate favorable settlements
- Capable of building and maintaining effective client relationships with empathy and professionalism
- Active license to practice law in the state of Arkansas
- Previous experience in labor and employment law or related fields is an advantage
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
