Position Summary:
The technologist works under the direction of a radiologist, performs the specific section procedures with high quality. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply the imaging equipment for production of high-quality images. Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as requested.

Qualifications:
• Maintain current licenses and certifications as required.
• Complete and adhere to knowledge gained through annual employee education.
• Ability to meet and interact with the public in a mature, courteous, and professional manner.
• Ability to operate equipment within the department.
• Maintain Aultman attendance standards.
• Experience preferred.

• Identify each patient and review physician orders for accuracy.
• Properly position patients for high image quality.
• Medical record documentation in HIS and RIS or systems required per department.
• Review each examination for quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and stock supplies.
• Communicate pertinent information to supervisor or responsible individual.
• Explain exams/procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.
• Adhere to Aultman policies and procedures.
• No direct reports for this position.
